Drop in for a few minutes of fun or stay for an hour of fitness at weekly hula hoop classes returning in June.
Fans of Hoop34, 34th Street Partnership’s free hula hoop classes taught by Sheryl Wilson of Fitnotic, will be pleased to learn that this summer’s schedule has been set. The season kicks off at 6pm on Monday, June 13 and continues each Monday through August 15 (although there will be no class on July 4).
Hula hoopers of all ages and skill levels are invited. The Partnership provides the equipment, including a limited number of toddler-sized hoops for younger participants, although experienced hoopers are welcome to bring their personal hoops to use as well. Participants are welcome to stop by for five minutes of fun, or to stay the full hour for an unbeatable core workout. It’s a great way to let loose after a day in the office or an afternoon spent shopping on 34th Street.
