Program expands to include free monthly park tours departing at 7pm.
Public Tours of Bryant Park are a fantastic way to get the scoop on Manhattan’s Town Square. These free tours are conducted by knowledgeable members of Bryant Park Corporation’s staff who discuss a wide number of topics - architecture, history, urban management, design, horticulture, and more – in an engaging manner that informs and delights.
The tours have been such a hit that this spring, we’ve decided to add a monthly evening session. Departing from the Fountain the first Tuesday of each month at 7pm, our evening tours make it even easier for curious visitors to get their fill of Bryant Park facts.
Daytime Public Tours continue to meet at the Fountain each Wednesday at 11am. Whichever you choose, be sure to reserve your spot by pre-registering with Eventbrite. Tours last 45 minutes, and check-in is five minutes before departure.
For groups of six or more, we ask that you email us two weeks ahead of time at firstname.lastname@example.org. If your group has a professional interest, you can arrange a customized two-hour tour that includes a briefing in our offices followed by a walk through the park.
If our times don’t work for your schedule, you can take a guided tour any time during park hours! Our audio tour is led by Mathew Broderick on Soundwalk. Just download the ten-part series and enjoy a fascinating tour of the park with trenchant observations about its patrons, past and present.
So far, we have spotted 120 species of birds throughout the park. Join in on our twice-weekly tours and be the one to spot the 121st.
Take a break from the cubicle to enjoy the free use of games at Park West.
