Attainting mid-week bliss just got easier for people who live or work near Bryant Park, as Walking Meditation classes presented by the Shinnyo Center for Meditation and Well-Being return this week. Using fundamental Buddhist principles to create experiences accessible to anyone in contemporary society, a Walking Meditation session can enhance your physical, mental, and emotional well-being.
Each class begins with seated opening remarks and instruction, followed by a slow and mindful walk throughout the park that will provide you with a powerful experience before you head to the office. The 30-minute sessions depart from the Upper Terrace Gravel, across from Bryant Park Café, at 8:30am each Wednesday through September 28.
