New series brings Silent Discos and Mobile Mondays Vinyl Nights to Plaza33 on consecutive Thursdays.

Vornado Realty Trust

Thursdays in August will be exciting at Plaza33, as 34th Street and its partners bring fabulous free dance parties to the new public space throughout August and into the fall. Party33 includes a Silent Disco and four Vinyl Nights on five consecutive Thursday evenings.

On August 4, everyone is invited to come to the Silent Disco, presented with Quiet Events. Just obtain your special headphones and tune in to one of three channels with DJs spinning music in three genres. Switch between channels as often as you'd like! Your headphones will glow to show everyone what you're listening to. The music begins at 7pm and continues for three hours. Credit or debit card is required at check-in to reserve your headphones for the event.

On the following four Thursdays, it’s Vinyl Nights, produced with Mobile Mondays. Come dance the night away as DJs spin vinyl records featuring classic dance music including, boogie, house, disco, and more. Each event showcases a different dance genre and a specially selected pair of DJs.

The Vinyl Nights schedule is as follows:

  • August 11: That’s Disco Before Travolta with Joey Carvello and DJ Woof
  • August 18: New York The 80’s with Misbehaviour & Kenny Parker of BDP
  • August 25: Boogie and NYC Dance Classics with Natasha Diggs and $MoneyMike$
  • September 1: Freestyle, 90’s Dance & House with Joey Carvello and Johnny D

Vinyl Nights runs from 6pm to 9pm. Plaza33 is located on 33rd Street between Seventh and Eighth Avenues. Keep up on all the goings on at public spaces managed by 34th Street Partnership by checking in regularly at the events calendar on our website.
