Groupmuse Performs at Herald Square Park

Catch the final installment of Outside-the-Chamber music tonight at 6:30pm.

Our Outside-the-Chamber Music series, produced in partnership with Groupmuse, brings talented chamber musicians to Herald Square Park for evening concerts timed for the after-work crowd. Shoppers and office workers have responded enthusiastically, gathering around to enjoy an incredible hour of music. After two performances this summer, there’s still one more chance to experience this new series for yourself.

The final installment of Outside-the-Chamber Music is tonight at 6:30pm at Herald Square Park. The hour-long performance includes orchestral and traditional brass quintet arrangements in the first half, followed by jazz and pop arrangements. The quintet consists of Michael Sinicropi on trumpet, Evan Honse on trumpet, Adam Norris on horn, Matt Melore on trombone, and Andy Madej on tuba.

We’ve been pleased with attendance for this series so far, with 50 more people coming to enjoy each performance, and we’d love to see an even bigger crowd come to the finale. We invite everyone to drop by after work and enjoy an evening of music in the park.
