Public Fare by Danny Meyer Opens on the Deck

The new rinkside eatery offers a selection of sandwiches, soups, snacks, and drinks to make your visit to Winter Village a delicious one.

We’ve made a lot of changes to Bank of America Winter Village for the 2016-2017 season, and one of the most exciting is welcoming Danny Meyer’s Union Square Hospitality Group to operate Public Fare, the rinkside eatery at the northeast corner of The Rink.

The cafe is open daily from 8am - 10pm, serving breakfast, soups, sandwiches and bar snacks. There’s also a full bar with beer, wine, and specialty cocktails (including our favorite, the Bryant Park Daisy).

Come by for a coffee and breakfast before taking to the ice and have a sweet or savory pastry, steel-cut oatmeal, yogurt, or fruit. If a bowl of hot soup sounds good, try the tomato with crispy pasta and parmesan, or white bean with kale. And the hearty sandwiches on the menu include grilled cheese, marinated chicken, smoked pork and ham with Swiss cheese, and salami and provolone.

Bar snacks include roasted nuts with rosemary, marinated olives, soft pretzels with cheese sauce, and kettle chip with sour cream onion dip. Whatever you order, you’ll be treated to one of NYC’s greatest winter views: the beautifully ice of The Rink filled with smiling skaters.
