Hit the ice on Thursday mornings for a workout led by skilled skating instructors.
Savvy Midtown office workers know that a spin on The Rink at Bank of America Winter Village is just the thing to wake you up before another long day on the job. This season, we’re taking it up a notch by offering Exerskate, free ice-skating-based exercise classes on Thursday mornings from 8am-8:30am.
Our instructors are trained figure and hockey skaters who not only provide a brisk workout, but also fine tune your skating technique. The 30-minute classes begin promptly at 8am, but we ask all participants to arrive 20 minutes early to ensure enough time to check-in, lace up your skates, and stow your belongings in a locker. Exerskate classes and admission to The Rink is free of charge, and you may bring your own skates and lock. You may also rent skates for $20, and locks are available for purchase for $10. Showers and towels are not provided.
Exerskate classes are free, but registration is required beforehand using Eventbrite. Sessions are filling up, so don’t wait. If the one you want is already filled up, put your name in and we’ll add you to the waitlist. Exerskate is recommended for competent skaters.
