Read-to-Skate StoryTime at Overlook

Bring the kids to Winter Village on Saturday mornings for free kids programming with Cali Co Cat and Le Carrousel Pals. Enjoy songs, stories, and free books while supplies last.

Angelito Jusay

We have great news for kids and parents who enjoyed StoryTime at Le Carrousel in Bryant Park during the holiday season: Cali Co Cat & Le Carrousel Pals are moving the series indoors beginning this Saturday for the first-ever Read-to-Skate StoryTime. Meeting at Overlook, located on the second floor of the Skating Pavilion at Bank of America Winter Village, this special winter program provides fun, free books, and the opportunity to earn a free skate rental at The Rink.

Cali Co Cat and her pals provide the entertainment, including games, stories, and songs, and there are free books for attendees while supplies last, courtesy of our partners at Penguin Random House. Kids can also obtain a StoryTime Card and start earning their way to free skate rentals and lessons at The Rink.

Kids who get their card stamped at one StoryTime session and attend one program at the Children’s Center at the New York Public Library (or read one library book there), will receive one free skate rental. Attendance at three StoryTime programs at Overlook wins the card-bearer a skate rental plus one for an adult as well, and all participants are automatically entered in a raffle to win a free skate lesson.

Read-to-Skate StoryTime meets 12pm-1pm every Saturday through March 4 at Overlook, no tickets or pre-registration required. Attendees may obtain entry to the Skating Pavilion at the ticket booths located on The Deck
