Winter Poetry Starts Up Next Week

Join the Reading Room at Kinokuniya Bookstore to hear outstanding poets read their latest work.

The city’s premier outdoor poetry series moves inside to the warm confines of Kinokuniya Bookstore for four sessions beginning on Tuesday, January 17. Kicking off the Winter Poetry season is an outstanding program presenting poets from McSweeney’s, with a lineup that includes Jay Hopler, Emily Carr, Jesus Castillo and Dan Chelotti.

Winter Poetry continues on the third Tuesday of each month through April, bringing us right into the warm-weather season. Here’s the rest of the Winter Poetry schedule:

Please note: programs are subject to change. Winter Poetry meets 6pm – 8pm at Kinokuniya Bookstore, just across the street from Bryant Park at 1073 Avenue of the Americas. We thank Kinokuniya for providing a fantastic venue and HSBC for its longtime sponsorship of the Bryant Park Reading Room
