Winter Village Santa is a Nobel Laureate

Our Santa boasts a particularly impressive resume.

Angelito Jusay

This year, Santa’s Corner at Bank of America Winter Village was extra special. As reported in the New York Post, our Santa, Dr. Charles Nuttall, is a nephrologist/andrologist, a Mensa member with an IQ of 145, and a Nobel Prize recipient.

In addition to the Nobel Prize, which he shared as a charter member of the American branch of the International Physicians for the Prevention of Nuclear War, he has also traveled the world performing missionary work, and studied acting at the Royal Shakespeare Company.

Not that he needs to use acting techniques when interacting with kids. If one gets a bit nervous meeting Santa, he’s ready. “I think I can do it better because of my background,” he says. “As a physician, I’ve pretty much seen it all. I’ve learned not to overreact and to stay calm in the face of emergencies.” You can see some great shots of Santa on our Flickr page

BRYANT PARK

Starting with a free skating performance featuring Johnny Weir, this year's nine-day event includes curling lessons, yoga, bingo, a silent disco, and much more.

New location to feature outposts of prominent local chefs and restaurants.

Our Design Department is always thinking about how to elevate the park's aesthetics.
