Focusing on Visual Improvements

Our Design Department is always thinking about how to elevate the park's aesthetics.

The staff at Bryant Park Corporation takes its job to improve Bryant Park seriously. Every year we make changes and adjustments, both large and small, that make the experience of visiting more pleasing each time.

Chief among our concerns is the overall look of the place.  Here’s a partial list of the things we did in 2016 to make the park more visually pleasing.

  • Visually and graphically unified all park signage.
  • Developed the Art Cart as a destination.
  • Installed a new fence around the park.
  • Designed and implemented an attractive and informative “Today in Bryant Park” signs.
  • Extended the Southwest Porch.
  • Evaluated all trees and removed and unhealthy ones.
  • Installed a new horticulture treatment for the area around Ping Pong.
  • Installed a new security booth at the park’s southwest corner.
  • Executed a complete redesign of Bank of America Winter Village.

We’ve got more improvements planned for 2017, naturally. First up, a redesign and renovation of our fabulous restrooms
