Ridership Up at Le Carrousel

The park's own carousel enjoyed another record-breaking year.

Angelito Jusay

Thanks to a spike in attendance late in the year, Le Carrousel established new records for ridership and attendance in 2016. For the year, we had 112,524 riders, just edging the previous record set in 2015 by 1%. As for revenue, not only did we break the previous record by 6%, we also netted enough to help the rest of the park.

When Quentin Robbins, Director of Visitors Services, brought operations of Le Carrousel in-house, the goal was to make this delightful amenity self-sustaining. Thanks to his efforts and his hard-working staff, Le Carrousel now earns enough revenue to pay for its maintenance and operations, with enough left over to be able to contribute to the maintenance of the park as a whole.

Le Carrousel is open Thursday-Sunday, 11am–6pm, through February, returning to daily operation on March 1. Rides are $3, and a 10-Ride Discount Card is only $20. Le Carrousel also hosts children’s birthday parties, with three party packages available to let you customize the event to your needs.
