Broadway French Market Opens for Business

Midtown's best open-air market is back, bringing fresh produce, baked goods, ready-to-eat fare, and beautiful plants to Broadway Boulevard.

Jane Kratochvil

Broadway French Market returns to Broadway Boulevard a bit earlier than usual this year, as Midtown’s only open-air market makes its 2017 debut on Wednesday, April 5, offering fresh produce and meats, prepared foods, flowers, and more.

This is the fifth year of the market, which is operated by Bensidoun USA. Shoppers will once again have up to 18 stalls to peruse for ready-to-eat treats or fresh ingredients to take home and prepare for dinner. The vendors rotate, so the market is a bit different each week. This year we welcome newcomers Cox Corner Market, and Mind, Body and Bath.

Broadway French Market is located at the Broadway Boulevard pedestrian plaza between 35th and 36th Streets, and is open Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, 11am-6pm, from April through October, weather permitting.

You can show your loyalty to Broadway French Market while making a bold fashion statement by purchasing the French Market Tote, now on sale at Bryant Park Shop. Inspired by traditional French shopping bags and made from natural fibers, this tote is perfect for carrying fresh produce and artisanal foods, and can be purchased now for only $10.
