Brooklyn College MFA Closes Out Winter Poetry

Don't miss the final winter session of the season at Kinokuniya Bookstore.

Over the colder months, poetry fans have taken comfort in the Reading Room’s indoor Winter Poetry series. Meeting at Kinokuniya Bookstore, Winter Poetry has brought talented poets and appreciative audiences together on the third Tuesday of every month since January, but it’s time to wrap things up and prepare for spring.

The final installment is on Tuesday, April 18, presenting work from the faculty at the Brooklyn College MFA program. Scheduled to appear are Julie Agoos, Anselm Berrigan, Ben Lerner, and Marjorie Welish. Though this is the Winter Poetry finale, don’t forget that  the outdoor poetry season at the Reading Room kicks off on April 27 when we host Poem in Your Pocket Day.

Please note: programs are subject to change. Winter Poetry meets 6pm–8pm at Kinokuniya Bookstore, just across the street from Bryant Park at 1073 Avenue of the Americas. We thank Kinokuniya for providing a fantastic venue and HSBC for its longtime sponsorship of the Reading Room.
