Urban Sketching Meetups at Herald Square

Let the city be your muse at weekly meetups presented in partnership with The Art Students League of New York.

Vornado Realty Trust

Urban Sketching Meetups, presented by 34th Street Partnership with The Art Students League of New York, are returning beginning Wednesday, May 3. Meetups provide fledgling artists with two valuable assets: free instruction and the inspiration of a bustling urban backdrop.

The program brings professionals from ASLNY to Herald Square Park to offer free tips and advice, while providing an opportunity to interact with other artists in a casual, low-key setting. Limited materials are provided, but participants are encouraged to bring their own.

Meetups convene 6:30pm–7:30pm on Wednesdays from May through September.  They are free and open to everyone, no matter the skill level.
