Celebrate International Tabletop Day

Kick off the season of Game Socials with Jenga Blitz and Settlers of Catan Tournaments.

Angelito Jusay

Saturday, April 29 is International Tabletop Day, and to mark the occasion, Bryant Park Games invites everyone to come kick off the season of Game Socials.

The celebration begins at 12pm with a Jenga Blitz Tournament. Then, at 3pm, an always-popular Settlers of Catan Tournament gets going.

No pre-registration is necessary to enter the tournaments; simply show up and have the Games Host put your name down. Space in each event is limited, so we suggest you show up at least 15 minutes early to secure your spot.

This is just the first event in a full season of Game Socials at Bryant Park Games. From May through August, we’re hosting five Game Socials each week, providing gamers with the opportunity to meet up with like-minded folks and talk strategy.

  • Mondays, May 22 – September 4, 6pm-8pm: Mah Jongg Social, led by Linda Fisher, including special Mah Jongg Marathons on May 29, July 3, and September 4

  • Tuesdays, May – August, 6pm-8pm: Retro Game Social, focusing on retro games like Jenga, Connect 4, and other classic favorites

  • Wednesdays, May – August, 6pm-8pm: Settlers of Catan, including tournaments on June 28 and August 30

  • Thursdays, May 25 – August 31, 3pm-5pm: Mah Jongg Social, led by Linda Fisher

  • Fridays, May – August, 6pm-8pm: Strategy Games, like Carcassone, King of Tokyo, and many more

At all socials, equipment is provided and there is no pre-registration or tickets required.
