Another great season of yoga starts tonight at 6pm, featuring special guest Elena Brower.
The city’s biggest and best outdoor yoga program starts up again on Thursday, May 11 as Bryant Park Yoga presented by Manduka launches its 2017 season with a special session on the Lawn at 6pm. Regularly drawing more than 1,000 yogis to its evening classes, Yoga brings top instructors, curated by yoga journal, to the park for free twice-weekly classes all spring and summer.
This year, we welcome new sponsor Manduka, purveyor of quality mats and yoga accessories, and the first session is being held in conjunction with the company’s Project: OM benefitting Susan G. Komen. For this special class, please register here.
Yoga then meets Tuesdays, 10am–11am, on the Upper Terrace and Thursdays, 6pm–7pm, on the Lawn through September 14. For all sessions after May 11, you can RSVP at Eventbrite, but walk-ins are welcome as well. Starting at the May 16 session, pick up a Frequent Yogi card and start building points towards valuable prizes.
If you haven’t made it to a Yoga session yet, this is the time to do it. The atmosphere is fantastic, the instructors are friendly and energetic, and you’ll have a chance to meet, quite literally, hundreds of people each time.
