Be There or Be Chair at Musical Chairs

Sixth annual event welcomes hundreds to the lawn for the largest game of its kind.

The biggest game of musical chairs in the city returns to Manhattan’s Town Square on June 5 as we hold the sixth annual Bryant Park Musical Chairs competition. Hosted by NPR’s Ophira Eisenberg and set to tunes by DJ Flip Bundlez, the event is free and open to everyone 18 years and older.

Musical Chairs got off to a fast start in 2012 and has only grown in popularity since. The competition is fierce but the atmosphere is friendly as more than 700 contestants play among 25 circles, to celebrate the park’s 25th Anniversary since reopening. The winner walks away with valuable prizes and a wonderful lifelong memory.

You must be at least 18 years of age to play, and pre-registration at Eventbrite is recommended. It’s first come, first serve, so we suggest you register now.  Be there or be chair!
