Practice the Art of Origami

Weekly classes in paper folding return to One Penn Plaza.

34th Street Partnership’s Origami classes hvae returned to Park East at One Penn Plaza, offering free classes in the ancient art of paper folding to anyone who wants to learn. Sessions are held at and are led by Gay Merrill Gross of Origami Studio NYC, author of eight books on the art and practice of making origami.

Origami is fun to make and easy to learn. Check out this YouTube clip as Ms. Gross creates an Origami Slinky. Sessions meet at 2pm–3pm on Tuesdays through September 26 and all materials are provided.
