Salsa Returns to Plaza33 and Broadway Boulevard

Another season of salsa kicks off with a live band next Wednesday, June 21.

After another successful season of Bryant Park Presents Dance Party in Bryant Park, Talia Castro-Pozo is back on 34th Street, offering free salsa lessons to all and throwing the biggest parties in town. 34th Street Partnership’s Salsa kicks off its 2017 season on June 21 with a live performance by Avenida B, and everyone is invited to take free lessons and dance into the night.

Each event begins at 6:30pm with 45 minutes of instruction conducted by salsa professionals. Then directly afterward, DJs spin until 8:30pm. It’s a great combination, and it doesn’t matter what skill level you are. Everyone, from beginners to professionals, needing to touch up on their skills, can benefit from the lesson and have a great time at the party.

Salsa meets at 6:30pm at Plaza33 every Wednesday from June 21 – July 19, then moves a few blocks east to Broadway Boulevard until August 30.
