From lobster rolls to lemonade, Hester Street Fair brings a delicious selection of food and drink to the Fountain Terrace each Monday.
The 2017 HBO Bryant Park Summer Film Festival, presented by Bank of America and supported by Swedish Fish, WeWork, TimeOut and JLL, got off to a soggy start on Monday as rain forced us to close off the Lawn to viewers. That didn’t stop the die-hard fans though, as hundreds of film fans lined the Lawn perimeter, sat in their bistro chairs, and enjoyed the 1933 classic King Kong as the rain came down.
The Film Festival resumes next Monday, June 26, with a screening of the 1949 musical On the Town, starring Gene Kelly and Frank Sinatra. Viewers looking to assemble their picnics will have an outstanding array of food vendors from which to choose, presented by Hester Street Fair and conveniently located at the Fountain Terrace. This carefully curated pop-up food market returns on all remaining film nights through the summer, weather permitting.
The lineup includes Burger and Lobster, Coffeemania, Manousheh, Oconomi, Pokee NYC, Thaibird, and Tijuana Picnic. Pair your food with a drink from Renegade Lemonade and a dessert from Taiyaki NYC, Joey Bats Sweets, or Breads Bakery.
Remember, the food vendors open for service at 4:30pm, the Lawn opens at 5pm, and entertainment presented by WeWork begins at 6pm. The screen lights up at sunset, so have your feast ready.
