Salsa is Broadway Bound

After a successful run at Plaza33, Salsa moves east to Broadway Boulevard.

Angelito Jusay

Salsa with Talia Castro-Pozo, which offers free lessons in Salsa dancing led by talented instructors followed by dance parties, is enjoying a great summer run. The series has drawn big, enthusiastic crowds to Plaza33 since mid-June, but we’re now taking it just a few blocks east to Broadway.

Beginning July 26, Salsa moves to Broadway Boulevard, bringing the same combination of lessons and dance parties to the public space bordered by Macy’s and Herald Square. Everyone’s invited to come, learn some steps, and dance into the night.

Salsa meets on Wednesdays at 6:30pm through August 30. Dance lessons are from 6:30pm–7:15pm, and the dance party runs from 7:15pm–8:30pm.
