The Drilling Company presents a three-day run on the Bryant Park Stage.
The Bard returns to Bryant Park for a mid-summer engagement this week as Bryant Park Presents: Shakespeare opens a three-performance run of Twelfth Night on Friday, July 28. Everyone is invited to come and watch Shakespeare’s comedy performed by The Drilling Company.
The play moves to the Bryant Park Stage for this production, which includes performances at 7pm–9pm on July 28, 7pm–9pm on July 29, and a Sunday matinee at 3pm–5pm on July 30.
If you come Friday, make a full evening of it as the performance is paired with Friday Picnics. From 5pm–10pm, assemble your picnic from the selection of vendors curated by Hester Street Fair, borrow a blanket from us, spread out on the Lawn, and enjoy the play.
Bryant Park Presents Shakespeare is sponsored by Will TNT. The new television series portrays a contemporary version of Shakespeare's life, played to a modern soundtrack that exposes all his recklessness, lustful temptations and brilliance.
Spend tomorrow night on the Lawn enjoying an open bar and dancing to DJ Grandmaster Flash and Hannah Bronfman at Barefoot Ball.
Learn the basics of watercolor, urban sketching, and drawing from Painters in Residence.
Belt it out to Broadway hits on Thursdays after Broadway in Bryant Park.
Sit back with a good book or catch up on the news at Herald Square Park and One Penn Plaza.
