Beginner classes taught by Manhattan Fencing Center pros return to the Fifth Avenue Terrace.
Bryant Park Fencing, conducted by masters from Manhattan Fencing Center, begins its fall session on September 8, and everyone wanting to learn is invited to participate. Fencing is an athletic discipline requiring patience, coordination, and quick reflexes - the perfect activity to sharpen the senses after the lazy days of summer.
The six-week fall session kicks off on the Fifth Avenue Terrace at 41st Street at 1:30pm-2:30pm on Friday, September 8 and continues weekly on Fridays through October 13. Classes are non-competitive, no prior experience is necessary, and equipment is provided. You can pre-register here or by calling Manhattan Fencing Center at 212-382-2255. Drop-ins will only be accepted if space allows, and you must be 16 or older to participate.
