Musicians on Call at the Porch

Musicians who do inspiring work at health facilities perform tonight.

Colin Miller

Musicians on Call is an organization that brings live and recorded music to the bedsides of patients in healthcare facilities. This program, founded in 1999 by musicians/entrepreneurs Michael Solomon and Vivek Tiwary, has brought joy to more than 600,000 patients, families, and caregivers and operates 73 programs across the country in 14 major markets.

Tonight, MOC’s partner Southwest Airlines brings three local musicians to Southwest Porch in Bryant Park to play live. Each musician will perform a few songs to create an MOC showcase, and everyone is invited to come, free of charge.

The music begins at 6pm, and will be performed on the pergola, facing east. While you’re here, enjoy a beer, glass of wine, or cocktail at the Porch, and have a bite to eat, although no purchase is necessary to join in on the fun.
