Join Jessica Strand for the final two sessions of Book Club, focusing on The Deep Dark Descending.
34th Street’s Book Club has enjoyed another thought-provoking season, presenting two free sessions on the third Wednesday of each month with discussions on some of the most exciting contemporary fiction.
The final installment of the series is on October 18 and the book to be discussed is The Deep Dark Descending, a psychological thriller by Allen Eskens about a homicide detective driven to the edge by the knowledge that his wife, thought to be the victim of a random hit-and-run traffic incident, was actually murdered.
The final two sessions are at Park East, One Penn Plaza at 12pm–12:45pm and 5:30pm–6:15pm. Discussions are led by Jessica Strand of the New York Public Library’s Books at Noon, and free coffee is provided. To prepare for the discussion, pick up your free copy of the book at the Reading Room in Park East, available while supplies last.
