New eatery serving up deluxe open-faced sandwiches opens on 35th Street.
Hungry and health-conscious 34th District shoppers, office workers, and residents added another go-to place for lunch recently as Sliced opened its doors at 264 West 35th Street.
The first NYC eatery committed to perfecting the art of the open-faced sandwich, Sliced goes beyond avocado toast and as the company’s website explains, they “use 3/4 thick freshly baked breads and top them with organic veggies, local cheeses, homemade meats & any other nutrient-rich tasty goodies…”
Ideal for breakfast and lunch, the menu offers savory toasts served on sourdough, rye, pumpernickel, or 7-grain breads, as well as sweet toasts served on brioche. There are also small toasts, and seasonal toasts (the currently choice is poke on a half-bagel). If you’re ordering in for the whole office, take a look at the catering menu.
Sliced is located at 264 West 35th Street and is open 7am–7pm, Monday – Friday, and 9am–7pm on Saturdays. 34th Street Partnership welcomes Sliced to the neighborhood and we wish them well.
