Ping Pong Tables at Plaza33 Stay Out

Bring your own equipment to enjoy the tables through the fall and winter.

Angelito Jusay

Ping Pong at Plaza33, introduced this year by 34th Street Partnership, has been a big hit. Every day, our two state-of-the-art tables have been occupied with players enjoying the opportunity to play in the open air, for no charge.

Until last week, friendly Recess Hosts were on hand in the afternoons to issue equipment and arrange matches. With the closing of Midtown Recess for the season, the hosts won’t be around, but we’re keeping the tables out in the plaza anyway.

Come by anytime with your paddles and balls to play. The tables will be here all fall and winter, and it doesn’t cost a thing to play. Keep a set of paddles and ping pong balls in your desk at work so when the day is mild, you’ll be ready to come down and play.
