New York City Opera to Perform at Winter Village

A full hour of Christmas favorites, performed by singers from New York City Opera.

Colin Miller

Bryant Park is proud to announce that a chorus of singers from New York City Opera will make a special appearance at Bank of America Winter Village next Monday, performing a selection of festive Christmas carols near the newly-lit Christmas tree on the Upper Terrace.

The chorus includes 20 singers, led by four of New York City Opera’s talented and acclaimed principal performers: Rachel Zatcoff. Elise Quagliata, Peter Kendall Clark, and Victor Starsky. The performance will provide holiday cheer for skaters on the ice at The Rink, as well as for visitors browsing the Holiday Shops or taking a rest on The Deck.

This continues a great relationship between Bryant Park and New York City Opera. Last summer, the acclaimed company gave four stirring previews of upcoming productions at our Bryant Park Presentsprogram, and all were well-attended and much appreciated by audiences.

The New York City Opera Christmas performance is Monday, December 11, 6:30pm – 7:30pm. Everyone’s invited to enjoy this exquisite music, which is free of charge.
