The Sam Ash Music Superstore will celebrate their new 34th Street location with a Grand Opening event on March 7.
The music retail legend Sam Ash was long associated with “Music Row” on 48th Street, occupying seven specialized storefronts. But about ten years ago, the store’s owners decided to consolidate its offerings into one concentrated location. After a decade-long search, they found the perfect spot at 333 W. 34th Street.
Why 34th Street? "This new location enables us to serve our customers better than we ever could on 48th Street," Richard Ash, CEO of Sam Ash Music Corp., told the online PR Newswire. Mr. Ash added: “We have a lot of great memories on Music Row… There is a lot of nostalgia associated with that street and we are proud to have been a part of its history. But we are very excited to have opened our doors on 34th Street. It's truly an amazing place to shop." Indeed, with its bustling retail scene, centralized transportation hubs, and always-crowded sidewalks, a retail store on 34th Street is guaranteed thousands of potential customers each day.
Though Sam Ash opened for business a couple weeks ago, the store will celebrate officially at their Grand Opening event on Thursday, March 7 from 6-11pm. There will be door-buster sales, product giveaways, artist and celebrity appearances, and live musical performances. Luckily, if a stop at 34th Street isn’t in the cards for you on March 7, Grand Opening sale prices will continue throughout the weekend.
Closing out the longest-ever Citi Pond season is the two-day Kids Food Festival. The program teaches kids the value of healthy eating habits through fun-filled cooking lessons, musical performances, and fitness workshops.
A perfect gift for your special someone, the 'Meet Me in Bryant Park' Envelope Pendant is now available at the BP Shop.
On March 1, Le Carrousel returns to daily operation with service from 11am-7pm.
