Enjoy game day eats, Flick Football games, a special guest, and a screening of the Broncos taking on the Seahawks.
The first cold-weather Super Bowl will be played at MetLife Stadium on Sunday, February 2 (weather permitting, of course). As the big game approaches, Southwest Porch at Bryant Park is the place to be.
From now through Sunday, February 2, The Porch is tailgate-central for Big Apple football fans. Each day this week, visitors can enjoy Game Day Eats specially created by ’wichcraft, including burgers, brats, beer, hot apple cider, chili, and, of course, gourmet guacamole. Our space heaters, open fire pit, and Slankets will help keep you warm, and you can even try your hand at Flick Football while you’re here.
The action heats up this weekend, when a surprise special guest from the College Hall of Fame visits The Porch on Saturday from 12:00 - 1:00pm. The festivities culminate with a screening of Super Bowl XLVIII live from 6:25pm until game’s end on Sunday, February 2.
When you visit Southwest Porch, take a photo, post it on Instagram with the tags @SouthwestAir and #PorchNYC, and you’ll be automatically entered in a drawing for a pair of roundtrip tickets with Southwest Airlines. A winner will be randomly selected on Monday, February 3. Visit the Bryant Park blog for full contest rules.
