BPC Extends Condolences to Family of Longtime Sanitation Worker

We experienced a painful loss last week when dedicated employee Frank Goldwire died in a house fire.

Mr. Goldwire had worked at Bryant Park since June 2009. He was an extremely friendly man who was loved and respected by all who worked with him. He served the park with care, becoming one of our most reliable sweepers. Mr. Goldwire frequently tackled the difficult task of cleaning the Fifth Avenue side of the park, an area with high foot traffic and many visitors. We offer our sincere condolences to his friends and family.

“He was the gentlest man, and he loved the park and his job. It is a tremendous blow to the entire staff,” says Jerome Barth, Vice President, Business Affairs.
