Re-branded as the Wyndham New Yorker, hotel plans for more rooms and more meeting space.
As of Monday, March 3, the venerable New Yorker Hotel has officially been re-branded as the Wyndham New Yorker, joining one of the country’s most successful brands. With 912 guest rooms and plans to add 114 more, the Wyndham New Yorker becomes the world’s largest Wyndham hotel. The owner also anticipates expanding the property’s meeting space by 20% to 30,000 sq.ft.
We wish the hotel the best of luck, and congratulate its owners for making such a show of faith in the future of the 34th Street District.
