Real estate giant uses open air market as lure for prospective leasers.
It may seem a small thing, but we were pleased. When Empire State Realty Trust published a flyer to advertise available space at 1350 Broadway (located between 35th and 36th Streets in the 34th Street District), the company included a mini-map of the neighborhood.
The sharp-looking map indicates the locations of many of the prestigious national and international retailers lining 34th Street and Broadway, landmarks including Macy’s, and the subway stations bringing passengers on seven busy lines to 34th Street.
But what really caught our attention was that the map indicated that the Broadway French Market was located on the stretch of Broadway Boulevard between 35th and 36th Street. We love adding value to our neighborhood, and to see one of our ventures being cited as a reason to move here tells us we’re right on track. Look for the Broadway French Market to return in early summer.
