Still-growing exercise program captured in time-lapse video.

It seems like we’re setting records every week at Bryant Park Yoga. On Thursday, July 17, an amazing 900 people came to participate in our evening session, an all-time one-session record. Then on Tuesday, July 22, our morning session attracted 404 participants, a new record for morning sessions.
With consistent numbers like these, it’s safe to say that we’re the largest outdoor yoga program in the city. This success is due to a fantastic combination: the commitment and professionalism of our program sponsor Athleta, the expertise and enthusiasm of the instructors provided by YogaWorks, the diligent work of our marvelous media partner Flavorpill, and the beautiful setting in Manhattan’s Town Square. For a taste of what the atmosphere is like at Bryant Park Yoga, view this time-lapse video from Business Insider.
Bryant Park Yoga meets on Tuesdays, 10:00-11:00am, on the Upper Terrace and Thursdays, 6:00-7:00pm, on the lawn. We recommend that you pre-register online with Flavorpill at yoga.bryantpark.org, but you can also just show up and join in. Mats are provided by Athleta, but with more people coming every week, please bring one if you have it.
