451 knitters have stitched together during 2014 series.
The single-session attendance record at Bryant Park Knits was broken three times in 2014, with an ultimate high of 73 on August 5. Average attendance has been just a shade over 50 per session, swamping the previous record. And we’ve already set a new total attendance record with 451 knitters so far.
There’s one more chance to see what all the excitement’s about. The final session of the season is on Tuesday, August 26, 1:30-3:00pm, on the Upper Terrace across from Bryant Park Grill. Our fantastic partner Knitty City will supply yarn and needles, and enthusiastic instruction. The three-day per week market welcomes four new vendors to its regular lineup. Artisanal olive oil, Italian bruschetta, raw honey, and farm-fresh eggs are now available in addition to locally sourced produce.
