Free burgers and tots make many a day at Broadway Boulevard.
On Friday, August 8 and Saturday, August 9, visitors and passers-by at Broadway Boulevard near Herald Square were in for a tasty surprise. In celebration of the new season of the Emmy-nominated series Wahlburgers on A&E, the "Wahlburgers on Wheels" food truck served up some of the family’s famous fare.
"Wahlburgers on Wheels" offered free servings of the "Our Burger," which comes topped with chef Paul Wahlberg's signature wahl sauce, dill pickles, cheese, lettuce, tomato, and onion, with a side of crispy delicious tater tots. A thousand people on each day walked away with a free meal. There were also photo ops, and a lot of people had a blast playing a Wahlburger-themed bean bag toss.
