6' x 6' cube promotion draws crowds to the 34th Street bowtie.
A 6’ x 6’ cube was placed at the tip of Herald Square Park, at the 34th Street, Sixth Avenue, and Broadway bowtie, by Nest, a maker of high-tech thermostats and smoke detectors. The company was introducing its newest product, an advanced carbon monoxide detector. From October 31 through November 2, hundreds of people stopped by to check out the cube and the carbon monoxide detector inside.
The district’s high pedestrian traffic makes it the perfect location for product launches, special events, film shoots and photography shoots. The events provide interest and entertainment for pedestrians, and help generate revenue with which we maintain Herald Square Park, Greeley Square Park, Broadway Boulevard, and other public spaces.
