Continuous Improvement at New York's Town Square

Bryant Park received many visual upgrades in 2014.

What keeps us ahead of the field is our dedication to improving the experience of visiting Bryant Park. Safety, cleanliness, and engaging programming are important elements, but we also strive to make visual improvements every year.

From old-fashioned structural work to the softening effects of horticulture, and much in between, we made the park look sharper, more elegant, and more interesting in 2014.

  • We designed and utilized new barricade covers and stanchion signs.

  • We successfully experimented with using the Upper Terrace steps as seating for musical performances.

  • Bryant Park Art Cart debuted on the Fifth Avenue Terrace.

  • We enhanced the flower treatment on the Sixth Avenue steps to make them reminiscent of the flowers at La Madeleine in Paris.

  • We designed and installed new roofs on the ’wichcraft kiosks at Heiskell Plaza.

  • And at The Tables, our resurfacing and redesign of the entire space left us with the finest outdoor Ping Pong facility in the city.

At Bank of America Winter Village at Bryant Park:

Looking ahead to 2015, we will be working on many projects, including designing site-specific furniture for the Reading Room and Le Carrousel, creating a new graphics scheme for signs, and installing new water fountains.
